About Hannah
Hi, I’m Hannah Stainer, Founder of Psykhe Services Ltd. I am a Psychodynamic Counsellor, Transformational Life Coach, Mentor and Qualified SEN Teacher.
I have a small private practice where I offer coaching, counselling and mentoring (or a mix). I work mostly with individuals who have ADHD or are autistic, including ADHD Coaching through Access to Work. I also do some freelance specialist mentoring and study skills support to autistic university students.
My background is in special education, in both special education settings, as a specialist advisory teacher in mainstream and as an associate diagnostic assessor for the British Dyslexia Association.
I went through the diagnostic pathway for autism myself in 2017 - I was teaching autistic students at the time and something just clicked and things suddenly made sense (and my students were saying I was one of them). Since then, I've learnt more about autism, ADHD and neurodivergence and moved in to coaching, counselling and mentoring gaining experience and qualifications in each area.
My qualifications are:
Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling
Animas Accredited Diploma in Transformational Coaching
Currently completing a Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology
MSc Psychology
Qualified teacher - PGCE Education and QTS
Postgraduate Diploma in Inclusive and Special Educational Needs, focused on autism and dyslexia
Level 3 Diploma in Yoga
I am a Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), an accredited practitioner member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and a graduate member of the British Psychological Society (GMBPsS).

Creativity - We draw on lots of different ways of working, ideas, creative ways of expressing and working and we think creatively too
Connection - We believe there is a real value in the connections and support that comes from a sense of community and a sense of belonging, that’s why we’re passionate about finding, or creating, safe, neuro-affirmative spaces
Playfulness - There is something playful in the way we work, there is a sense of experimenting - trying things out, exploring, discovering, there is humour and maybe even fun when we can find it in what can feel really challenging
