About Hannah

Hi, I’m Hannah Stainer, Founder of Psykhe Coaching. I am a Psychodynamic Counsellor, Transformational Life Coach, Mentor and Qualified SEN Teacher.

I have a small private practice where I offer coaching, counselling and mentoring (or a mix). I work mostly with individuals who have ADHD or are autistic, including ADHD Coaching through Access to Work. I also do some freelance specialist mentoring and study skills support to autistic university students.

My background is in special education, in both special education settings, as a specialist advisory teacher in mainstream and as an associate diagnostic assessor for the British Dyslexia Association.

I went through the diagnostic pathway for autism myself in 2017 - I was teaching autistic students at the time and something just clicked and things suddenly made sense (and my students were saying I was one of them). Since then, I've learnt more about autism, ADHD and neurodivergence and moved in to coaching, counselling and mentoring gaining experience and qualifications in each area.

About Psykhe

Psykhe was born out of a desire to promote mental wellbeing. We started with the podcast - having conversations about mental wellbeing to help share stories and strategies. We’ve not recorded any new episodes in a few years but who knows, maybe we’ll start again!

Whether it’s the podcast, blog, dipping into the resources for recommendations or working with us directly for coaching, counselling or mentoring support, Psykhe exists to help you to gain a deeper understanding of who you are, to feel better able to manage your life, your relationships and your wellbeing. We offer kind and compassionate support, a space to think and feel, and hopefully a sense of playful experimentation as we help you figure out what works for you.

We believe there’s something powerful about accepting who you are and where you are in life, developing a greater understanding and then using that to grow and move forward in your life in the way that you want to.
