Episode 48: Jen Sugermeyer: Learning to Love Yourself
In this episode of the Psykhe podcast, we’re joined by author, speaker and coach, Jen Sugermeyer. Jen, a Virginia native, is now a truck driving, Texan that lives with her cat, Booger, in the great city of Dallas. For the last 15 years, Jen has worked in corporations around the globe; Washington, DC, Afghanistan, Virginia, California, Texas and even spent a couple years in Italy.
When she isn’t writing or coaching, you’ll find Jen globe-trotting (been to 49 countries), boxing (watch out, she’s a southpaw with a reach!), exercising, being both in front of and behind the camera, spending time at the lake, and hanging out with friends, family, and doting over her niece, Olive.
In this week's episode, Jen shares her experience of living a double life - working a corporate job whilst being an alcoholic, being arrested and then at her desk in the afternoon. One day someone said 7 powerful words to her that had a profound impact on her life and how she felt about herself. Jen now shares how you too can learn to love yourself, commit to yourself and reset your life.
